YouTube added a Twitter button to YouTube share options. Twitter mania is now every where. if you click on Twitter button on YouTube a pop-up window will open that takes you to Twitter and fill in a Tweet telling your followers to check this video following video title name and URL.

YouTube added some new features along with Twitter button. This Twitter button is called Tweet Tweet feature. Other features are Upload Progress Bar, YouTube EDU, Simpler HD Parameter, Mobile Improvements and more. Thanks Erick.

YouTube added muting policy for copyrighted audio

YouTube is giving more options for the users who upload videos with music or audio in them. Up to now if a music label or other rights owner issued a copyright claim to block audio, the video was automatically removed.

If the video is not copyrighted and only the audio is copyrighted? The user is still able to share video without the copyrighted audio. The new muting policy exactly does the same.

YouTube added a new muting policy which does not remove content that contains copyrighted audio, Instead YouTube mutes the audio portion. The videos still plays but with out audio.

When you play a copyright audio contained video, a notice will be appeared at the bottom as shown in the graphic below, marked with red rectangle.

Video Sharing Website for Military – TroopTube

The U.S. military has launched a video-sharing website TroopTube for troops, their families and supporters, a year and a half after restricting access to YouTube and other video sites. Members of the armed forces, family, Civilian Defense Department employees or supporters can register at TroopTube. Members can upload personal videos from anywhere , But a Pentagon employee screens each video and check copyright violations and national security issues.

Video Adds now available for Indian Adsense publishers

Google enabled Adsense for video program for Indian publishers. These video add contents are from YouTube partners who have agreed to syndicate their videos.

Publishers can choose categories, individual content providers, or Google can target the content of the page for their video adds. Publishers can customize the video players to fit their sites.The video units section is at YouTube.com.
