Why appending status urls of the same tweet?

Just now I, tweeted on Twitter from the web. I seen two URLs in my tweet, one, which I added and another one is automatically added. The second URL is a short URL of the status of the same tweet. The short URL is from friendfeed’s ff.im. Why is this status URL appeared in the same tweet?

Is it a bug or something else. I am facing some problems while using Twitter on web. Some times its asking user name and password, which we seen the screen same as web directory login ( .htaccess ). Checkout these Mr. Tweet.

Do you need short URL's shorter than TinyURL? check out this new URL shortening services.

As Twitter like micro-blogging services are giving just 140 characters to its users for posts, people are looking at URL shortening services when they are putting any links on their message. Twitter is using TinyURL as default URL shortening service to shorten links in posts automatically. If you require very short URL’s than TinyURL, have a look on following new short URL services.

The following graphics shows you short URL for www.digisteps.com generated from different services.

TinyURL: For 24 characters TinyURL generated 25 characters short (long) URL.

LNK.by : This new URL shortening service give you short URL’s than TinyURL. As domain LNK.by domain is shorter than TinyURL you can get shorter URL than TinyURL.

ow.ly : As ow.ly domain is shorter than both TinyURL and LNK.by you may get even shorter URL’s.

NytUrl has been taken down temporarily due to security reasons, I did not checked it. UnHub requires you to login to shorten and share.
