Now you can Customize Email subject lines in Feedburner for better focus on your feed emails.

Feedburner added new capabilities to the Email Branding section of FeedBurner’s Email Subscriptions feature. With this new features you are able to customize subject in the subject lines of email subscriptions. Good subject lines can grab attention even in crowded inboxes.

Here is how you can customize subject line:

Sign in to Feedburner account and go to feed then Publicize > Email Subscriptions > Email Branding. Here you can see the page as show in the graphic below.

By using ${latestItemTitle} in the subject line you can insert latest post title in the subject or title of the email.

If you publish more than one post per day, You have one more beautiful feature in Feedburner that Change Subject when an email has 2 or more items or posts. See the graphic below.

Thanks Feedburner for giving us great features.

You can manage several email accounts with Multipple inboxes feature in Gmail. Now you no need to login to all email accounts, just forward them to Gmail to manage them easily at one place with different inboxes.

Google launched Multiple Inboxes feature in Gmail labs recently. With Multiple Inboxes you can see different customized inboxes when you login to Gmail. With the same feature you can see your several email accounts in the same browser window. It is possible if you are forwarding all your work or school or other email to Gmail.

How to manage several email accounts with Multiple Inboxes

1. Turn on Multiple Inboxes from the Labs tab under Settings.

2. Setup a filter to auto-archive all mail sent to your work or school address.

3. Customize one of your multiple inboxes to show mail sent to your other address. To do this, go to the Multiple Inboxes tab under Settings and set up one of the panes to search for mail sent to your other address.

4. (Optional) Use a "custom from" address so that replies will be sent from Gmail but as if they’re from your other account. This way, your coworkers or classmates won’t know the difference.

The Lenovo's new ThinkPad will be able to get emails from BlackBerry phone even when it is turned off or in standby.

Lenovo’s new ThinkPad laptop will be able to talk to a BlackBerry phone even when it is turned off. Lenovo and RIM have together created an accessory card for the laptops that will wirelessly download e-mail through the owners Blackberry phone.

Even when the laptop is turned off or in standby mode accessory card in the laptop can connect to owner’s BlackBerry phone to download e-mail’s. When the ThinkPad boots up, the new email will already be loaded. And no need to establish internet connection to download email iin the laptop.

The user will also be able to send e-mail from the ThinkPad through the BlackBerry without an additional Internet connection.

The "Lenovo Constant Connect" card will let users combine the always-on nature of the BlackBerry with the larger keyboard and screen of the laptop, said Rick Cheston, executive director at Lenovo. For instance, a traveler could flip open the laptop to do some quick e-mailing at an airport layover, rather than spending time to set up Internet access, he said.

The card connects to a BlackBerry through the Bluetooth wireless technology. When the computer is off, the card stores new e-mail in flash memory. It is already possible to connect a computer to the Internet through Bluetooth feature of some phones, But here computer should be turned on.

The card will cost $150 or less. Initially it will work only with Microsoft Corp.’s Outlook e-mail client, but Lenovo is working on supporting IBM Corp.’s Lotus Notes as well.

But the users accessing Gmail on a phone or through email client using POP may be frustrated. Because any action you take on mobile phone or email client such as reading, sorting or deleting, doesn’t sync with your Gmail account.

For example, If you have read and sorted all your new mail on your phone, But when you log in to your Gmail account using a web browser, your inbox filled with unread messages you already read on your mobile. So, you have to re-read and re-organize the messages. You can solve these problems by using IMAP instead POP.

POP provides one-way communication path. In this method your device (mobile, PDA etc) asks Gmail server for data and get it. That’s it. There is no feedback. Things you do on your device have no effect on the server. So, you will see that same messages marked as unread which you read on your phone.

IMAP provides two-way communication path. So, your devices talk back to servers and sync your changes automatically. When you sign in to your Gmail account in a web browser, actions you’ve taken on your email client or mobile device will also appear in Gmail. This is very helpful for the users who access their Gmail from multiple devices.
