Microsoft Entered into iPhone with Seadragon
Microsoft released its first ever iPhone application, Seadragon Mobile. It enable you to browse images on mobile platform as smooth as you get on the PC.
Seadragon is a slick photo viewer with a browsing capability that handles a large number of photos on a mobile device screen.
“Want to see giga-pixel images on your iPhone? Now you can–with Seadragon Mobile” – Microsoft.
Microsoft’s Live Labs division developed the app. Seadragon Mobile is released for iPhone, even before making it available for Microsoft’s own mobile platform. The application is free to download at Apples App Store. It allows a user to quickly magnify a particular area of a photo, regardless of its size with its Deep Zoom feature.
The aim of the application is to let users view even wall sized images on mobile device regardless of the bandwidth.
