Now you can see PowerPoint files online, directly in your browser without having to save the files to your computer and without buy and installing any special software and even you no need to wait for any software start up. Google added PDF viewer few days back, and the same viewer now supports PPT and TIFF files.

Previously Gmail had  “View as Slideshow” to view PowerPoint files. Now they integrated this this technology to Gmail viewer which is used to see PDFs and TIFFs.

This new viewer provides you rich set of features. You can zoom in and out, select text to copy and paste, and "print" the presentation to a PDF document. And, unlike the old version, Gmail no longer require you to have a Flash plug-in installed on your browser.

“Gmail online viewer gives you the option to "print" the TIFF by opening it as a ready-to-print PDF’ said Marc Miller, Software Engineer.
