Moving From FeedBurner to Google – a Guide

feedburner-to-google

Google acquired FeedBurner long back. Now Google is asking FeedBurner users to move to Google Account. After login to your FeedBurner account, you will see a message ” Your FeedBurner account and all your feeds should move to Google“.

Why you should move?

The Google answer is

  • FeedBurner’s new features will only appear in Google Accounts.
  • Adsense for feeds only works with Google Accounts.
  • Soon, Burned feeds will work only if they are hosted on Google.

So, In order to have all new features for your feeds, you should move to Google. With above answers you can see a following note, that states FeedBurner’s Site Stats are not supported in Google Accounts. And we encourage you to try Google Analytics for website statistics. You can see all the above in the following graphic.
