Doodle 4 Google - Kids competition
Doodle 4 Google is a K-12 students competition to reinvent Google’s homepage logo. This year Google asked U.S. kids to doodle around the theme “What if…?”.
For this competition Google received over 16,000 entries.
The winner of the competition is Grace Moon, a 6th grader at Canyon Middle School from Castro Valley, California. Grace’s lovely doodle, “Up in the Clouds,” will grace Google homepage, on May 22nd, 2008.
Google announced 40 regional winners also. You can see them here. And also created a map of finalists, where in you can see doodles location wise.
16,000 logos of Google by kids, really wonderful. Kids showed their creativity with colors. I really thanks to Google for conducting this type of competitions for kids. Its a lot of encouragement for them.
Google look at India. Do those here also. Wonderful kids are here to make wonders.
