Airtel Introduces India’s First Android Phone
Google Android entered in India. Airtel brings the HTC Magic, Android powered touchscreen mobile phone to India. The launch is the India’s first Google Android OS powered mobile phone. HTC Magic available at Airtel Relationship Centers and authorized HTC resellers across 17 cities in India. And this unlocked phone is priced at around 30K INR.
The HTC Magic is a true entertainment and communication powerhouse. As the mobile phone is powered by Google Android OS, It provides the Google suite of services like Gmail, Search, YouTube, Maps and Google Talk. The device is enhanced with Outlook synchronization, SmartDialer, and an onscreen keyboard with predictive text. It has no physical Keyboard.
This Wi-Fi enabled device also supports High-speed 3.5G network connection. With the featured 3.2 megapicel camera you can capture stills as well as videos. PDF Viewer and Quickoffice applications are included for easy viewing of the documents.
