Now you can add your current geographical location to Gmail automatically. So, you no need to add location in your Gmail emails, if you are a frequent traveler. Mail systems tell you when an email was written, but not where it was sent from. Now you no need to answer to “where you are?’”, your Gmail automatically tells from where it was sent from.

To add this feature go to Labs tab under Gmail settings and enable Location in Signature.

Then go to General tab in settings and check the box below the signature preferences named “Append your location to the signature.”

As Gmail uses IP address to determine your location, so the location may not be accurate. You can modify the location in signature before sending mail, if it is not accurate.

To get more accurate location detection, Marco Bonechi, Google Software Engineer suggesting to use Gears location module as it use of wi-fi access point signals to recognize the location.
